Pricing & Payment
The price of any products will be as quoted on our site, except in cases of obvious error. All of the prices quoted on this website include VAT. Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders in respect of which we have already sent you an order confirmation.
Our prefered method of payment is via PayPal. Use our shopping basket & pay securely via PayPal’s secure server using your credit or debit card (inc. Mastercard, Visa, Delta, Solo, Switch/Maestro, Amex). You DO NOT need to have a PayPal account to use this payment method, you can simply enter your payment details when prompted. An email will be sent shortly after your order has been placed to confirm your order and delivery details.If you would rather not use PayPal to process your payment, we also accept BACS transfers. Please note that we will not begin work on your artwork until payment has cleared.
Any gift vouchers that you buy directly from The Little Red Cottage can be redeemed both on our website and in person. When redeeming gift vouchers in person, you must let us know when placing your order that you wish to use your gift voucher towards the cost of your purchase.
Gift certificates cannot be used or redeemed without the valid voucher code, cannot be redeemed for cash, cannot be replaced if they are lost or stolen, cannot be used or redeemed towards previous purchases, cannot be used or redeemed to purchase other gift certificates, cannot be resold, and are not refundable. No cash alternative is available.
Only one certificate code can be used per transaction. If you have more than one code you may place separate orders. Any purchase exceeding the value of a gift certificate code requires the use of a valid bank or credit card to complete the transaction.
Purchased Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Any other vouchers i.e. charity donations or loyalty scratch card codes; the expiry date is clearly stated on the front of each voucher. Every voucher has a unique code assigned to it and can only be redeemed once. All other Little Red Cottage terms and conditions apply. These terms and conditions are governed by the Laws of England and Wales and are subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
Unfortunately we are currently unable to offer delivery to areas outside of UK Mainland.
All orders are sent via Royal Mail. The delivery options are clearly stated when completing the checkout process. Standard delivery (Royal Mail 2nd Class signed for), First Class delivery (Royal Mail 1st Class signed for) and Special delivery (Royal Mail next day by 1pm). For all largerorders, delivery will be made via Parcel Force 48 hour service.
All delivery times stated are AFTER the order has been despatched. If you have not received your order in 7 business days, please contact us and we will follow this up for you.
All orders are sent via trackable delivery and we will provide you with a tracking number once your order has been despatched.
Returns & Refunds
In the unfortunate event that you should feel that you wish to return any product to The Little Red Cottage, you should contact us in writing, by email at i within 14 days of purchase. Please note we will not accept returns without prior agreement and will only accept returns due to damaged goods logged upon receipt and informed to the couriers. The customer's signature upon delivery is their acceptance that the products have been checked for damage and approved. Items should be returned to The Little Red Cottage within 28 days of purchase. Once we have received your returned product, we will process a replacement or refund item as soon as possible. The Little Red Cottage cannot accept returns on any personalised items unless the item is faulty, as these are designed and made to order. We regret that personalised items cannot be refunded once a design proof has been approved. Once design work has been undertaken by a designer and approved by the customer, The Little Red Cottage will only refund 50% of the full price of the item. For non-personalised products, we will refund the price of the product in full, not including postage costs. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us. We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.
Requests to change of Design
Depending on the complexity, please note that any requests to alter your design proof may take longer to complete and may incur further costs.
Please note we will try our best to ensure the closest match possible, however images and designs may vary slightly from the ones viewed on your computer. Once a design proof has been approved, and artwork produced, The LIttle Red Cottage will not offer a replacement if a colour does not fully match expectations.
If a customer wants is to include an image in their design, it is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure that any image that they provide is copyright free or that the copyright is owned by the customer themselves. We will take no responsibility for any breach of copyright caused through printing an image supplied by a customer.
All website design, text, graphic and designs of the prints and or products within the site are under strict copyright © The Little Red Cottage. You may not modify or replicate any item in any way without permission. You are not permitted to copy, distribute, alter or tamper with in any way or otherwise use any material contained in this website.
Data Protection & Privacy
Customer privacy is of the utmost importance to us. We do not disclose any client information to third parties (except for the needs of product delivery). In order to process an order we have to collect your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number. If you would prefer not to receive information from The Little Red Cottage on news or promotions please email email@example.com.
We do retain the right to use images of your artwork as examples on the site. If you would not like you artwork displayed please contact us and we will remove it.
Please note that we do not store any bank or credit card details.
Events We Cannot Control
We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a Contract that is caused by events outside our reasonable control.
This includes any act, event, non-happening, omission or accident beyond our reasonable control and includes in particular (without limitation) the following:
Strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action.
Civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war.
Fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster.
Impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport.
Impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications networks.
The acts, decrees, legislation, regulations or restrictions of any government.
Our performance under any Contract is deemed to be suspended for the period that the event continues, and we will have an extension of time for performance for the duration of that period. We will use our reasonable endeavour to bring the event to a close or to find a solution by which our obligations under the Contract may be performed despite the event.
These terms and conditions and any document expressly referred to in them represent the entire agreement between us in relation to the subject matter of any Contract and supersede any prior agreement, understanding or arrangement between us, whether oral or in writing.
We intend to rely upon these terms and conditions and any document expressly referred to in them in relation to the subject matter of any Contract. While we accept responsibility for statements and representations made by our duly authorised agents, please make sure you ask for any variations from these terms and conditions to be confirmed in writing.
If any of these terms and Conditions or any provisions of a Contract are determined by any competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent, such term, condition or provision will to that extent be severed from the remaining terms, conditions and provisions which will continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Our Right to Vary Terms And Conditions of Sale
We reserve the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions from time to time to reflect changes in market conditions affecting our business, changes in technology, changes in payment methods, changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements and changes in our system’s capabilities.
You will be subject to the policies and terms and conditions in force at the time that you order products from us, unless any change to those policies or these terms and conditions is required to be made by law or governmental authority (in which case it will apply to orders previously placed by you), or if we notify you of the change to those policies or these terms and conditions before we send you the Dispatch Confirmation (in which case we have the right to assume that you have accepted the change to the terms and conditions, unless you notify us to the contrary within seven working days of receipt by you of the Products).
Law and Jurisdiction
Contracts for the purchase of Products through our website will be governed by English law. Any dispute arising from, or related to, such Contracts shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. Only persons aged eighteen years or over may agree to these terms and use the web site or the services offered through the web site.
